On behalf of our client, a digital savings company, leader in their industry in KSA market, we are looking for a Marketing Manager to own the brand, marketing, communications and retention strategy, with a strong focus on the Saudi Arabian market.
This is a digital-first role. The Marketing Manager will own the strategy, KPIs and performance of the marketing function, combining brand and communications leadership with a practical understanding of performance marketing and paid acquisition. An existing team handles daily campaign execution, so the focus is on strategy, guidance and challenging results.
The role works closely with the Business Development team, who source brands, deals and discounts, and turns these offers into campaigns that drive traffic, user acquisition and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and own the brand and marketing strategy, plan and campaign calendar, including positioning, audiences and key messaging.
- Own content and creative direction, and turn deals and offers from the Business Development team into campaigns.
- Lead strategy and content for push notifications, CRM, email, social media and other channels.
- Ensure all marketing is properly localised for Saudi Arabia, not simply translated, reflecting Saudi consumer behaviour, culture, trends and communication style.
- Own the retention and re-engagement strategy, including remarketing.
- Build and guide the paid acquisition strategy across Google Ads/App Campaigns, Meta, TikTok and Snapchat: set targets and budgets, manage CPI and app-install strategy, and decide what to optimise, scale, test or stop.
- Analyse and challenge campaign results, monitoring CPI, CAC/CPA, ROAS, conversion, retention, LTV and attribution quality beyond the install.
- Define and monitor marketing KPIs, with regular reporting that guides future activity.
- Coordinate with Product, Business Development and Commercial teams.
Candidate Requirements
- Arabic language capability.
- Strong, demonstrable experience in the Saudi Arabian market and its consumer behaviour, culture and communication style.
- Proven experience in a consumer digital business, ideally in cashback, coupons and deals, loyalty and rewards, e-commerce, affiliate marketing or consumer fintech.
- Strong digital marketing background, with proven experience growing an app or digital platform (installs, activation, retention and revenue).
- Strong knowledge of performance marketing and paid acquisition, including CPI/app-install campaigns, CAC/CPA, ROAS, LTV, attribution, remarketing and re-engagement.
- Experience marketing promotions or deals with a partnerships or business development team.
- Experience developing marketing strategy and managing brand, content, communications and campaigns.
- Experience with social media, CRM, email and push notification strategy.
- Strong analytical ability and experience defining, monitoring and reporting on KPIs.
Personal Qualities
- Driven self-starter who can work autonomously and within a team.
- Proven track record of taking a digital media or digital consumer company’s performance to the next level, with measurable results
