Raban Al Safina for Oil & Gas Projects is seeking a Managing Director with the technical depth, executive experience and commercial capability to lead the company and its project portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead company strategy, profit and loss, business planning and the development of a sustainable project pipeline.
- Direct oil and gas projects across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
- Establish portfolio controls for cost, schedule, delivery risk, quality and process safety.
- Oversee bids, contract negotiations, subcontracting strategies, variations, claims and cash flow.
- Build effective relationships with clients, operators, delivery partners, suppliers and relevant stakeholders.
- Lead project and functional management teams, strengthen operating systems and address underperforming contracts.
Requirements
- Proven executive responsibility for an oil and gas company or a substantial oil and gas contracting business.
- Strong technical experience managing oil and gas projects, with direct accountability for multidisciplinary delivery.
- Demonstrated commercial leadership, including tendering, contract risk, negotiation, profitability and working capital.
- Practical understanding of process facilities, pipelines or related oil and gas infrastructure and their delivery interfaces.
- Experience directing operations, managing several projects and leading senior technical and commercial teams.
- Evidence of maintaining process safety, construction safety, quality and client acceptance throughout execution.
Preferred: A relevant engineering degree; experience with EPC contracts and major oil and gas clients or operators.
