AMAN Holding; one of Raya’s subsidiaries is hiring a Manager (Software Development).
What will you do?
- Work independently as the hands-on technical authority across multiple teams, primarily the mobile application squad (2 front-end and 2 back-end teams), to ensure consistent technical direction and delivery quality.
- Make architecture decisions and provide direct, hands-on technical guidance through implementation, testing, release, and handover to ensure solutions are correctly designed, built, and delivered end-to-end.
- Apply and champion knowledge of integration patterns, multi-layered architecture, microservices, micro-frontends, domain-driven design, and event-driven architecture to promote sound, scalable engineering practices across teams.
- Lead the modernization and revamp of existing legacy applications, including diagnosing and resolving complex, technically challenging legacy code, to improve system maintainability and reduce technical debt.
- Develop and maintain a technical roadmap for owned systems to ensure they remain stable, scalable, and future-proof. Ensure the quality of delivered changes and projects personally to confirm they meet defined engineering standards.
- Define and apply a rigorous code review and peer review process, and author coding guidelines for all front-end and back-end teams to standardize development quality.
- Coordinate releases between front-end and back-end teams to ensure smooth technical collaboration throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Analyze and translate business requirements in partnership with Product, Business, and Solution Architecture teams into feasible, working technical solutions.
- Drive delivery to market as quickly as possible without compromising quality, to accelerate business value realization.
What will you need?
Management Experience:
- 3-4 years managerial experience
Professional Experience:
- 7-10+ years of experience hands-on relevant experience
- Mobile/Front-End: React Native, Angular; exposure to React, Vue, Flutter, native iOS/Android (plus); micro-frontend architecture
- Back-End: Python/Django, Java (Spring/Spring Boot); exposure to Node.js, Go, .NET, Kotlin (plus); REST & GraphQL APIs
- Databases & Messaging: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis; Kafka, RabbitMQ (event-driven architecture)
- Infrastructure: CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions); Docker, Kubernetes; AWS/Azure/GCP; app/API/infra security
- Architecture Concepts: Multi-layered architecture, microservices, micro-frontends, DDD, event-driven design
- AI Tools: Hands-on use of AI/automation tools to boost engineering productivity
