The Tax Manager is responsible for managing UAE Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing, and BEPS Pillar Two compliance and advisory for the UAE entity and overseas group entities. The role ensures full alignment with UAE Corporate Tax Law, OECD BEPS framework, Transfer pricing, tax accounting and group tax governance standards, while supporting senior management on tax risk management, structuring, and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
- Manage UAE Corporate Tax compliance for the UAE entities including return preparation, review, taxable income computations and supporting schedules, review of accounting profit to taxable profit reconciliations.
- Interpret and operationalize UAE Corporate Tax Law, various Decisions, and guidance.
- Perform technical impact assessments for new business models, Intra group re-organizations, changes in legal or operational structure.
- Ensure strong tax governance, documentation, and audit defensible positions aligned with UAE CT requirements.
- Manage Transfer Pricing compliance for the UAE entity and overseas group entities, including collocation of related party transactions, preparation and review of Master File, Local File and CBCR Compliance. Maintenance of TP documentation in line with OECD TP Guidelines and UAE CT Law.
- Assess applicability of OECD BEPS Pillar Two (Global Minimum Tax / DMTT) to the group entities.
- Support Pillar Two impact assessments, including Data collection from overseas entities and branches, coordinate preparation/review of Pillar Two calculations and reports, where applicable
- Monitor global and UAE specific developments on Pillar Two and DMTT implementation and assess impact on the group’s tax profile.
- Prepare internal technical position papers, memos, and executive summaries for CFO, Head of Tax, Audit and risk committees.
- Preparation of monthly tax provisions for the UAE entities.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline, with a recognized professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CPA, or an equivalent accounting/tax certification.
- Minimum 6+ years of progressive experience in taxation, tax reporting, and regulatory compliance within the banking or financial services sector.
- Strong knowledge of UAE Corporate Income Tax legislation, including practical experience interpreting and applying relevant tax regulations.
- In-depth understanding of the OECD BEPS Pillar Two Framework, Global Minimum Tax requirements, and associated compliance and reporting obligations.
- Sound understanding of banking products, services, and operating models, with the ability to assess tax implications within a banking environment.
- Strong knowledge of tax accounting principles, including deferred tax, current tax provisions, tax disclosures, and financial statement reporting requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage tax reporting, compliance, filings, audits, and interactions with regulatory authorities and external advisors.
- Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax matters and provide practical business-focused recommendations.
