Learn more jti.comMAINTENANCE PLANNERWe are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our Maintenance team and contribute to equipment reliability, maintenance effectiveness, and technical capability development.
What You Will Be DoingYou will support the preparation of complex planned maintenance activities by clarifying work scope, execution methods, technical risks, required skills, spare parts, tools, documentation, and equipment access requirements.
You will contribute to the development and improvement of preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, using equipment history, condition-monitoring results, breakdown analysis, and maintenance feedback to improve task content, frequency, execution methods, and resource requirements.
You will develop and maintain technical and maintenance standards, including inspection, lubrication, adjustment, troubleshooting, repair, and component replacement procedures. You will ensure these standards are practical, accurate, and aligned with safety, quality, and manufacturing requirements.
You will provide technical support for complex or recurring equipment failures, applying structured troubleshooting and root-cause analysis to identify sustainable corrective and preventive actions. You will work closely with Maintenance Leads, Engineering, suppliers, and other specialists to resolve technical issues and verify the effectiveness of interventions.
You will support Autonomous Maintenance activities by training and coaching Equipment Owners in equipment function, basic equipment conditions, inspections, defect identification, and troubleshooting within their authorized scope.
You will contribute to accurate equipment records, bills of materials, task lists, maintenance plans, and technical documentation in the maintenance-management system. You will also participate in maintenance reviews and continuous improvement activities, ensuring technical learning is translated into updated standards and complete improvement actions.
EDUCATIONTechnical diploma, higher technical qualification, or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical discipline.
Formal training in reliability, condition monitoring, structured troubleshooting, or technical instruction is preferred.
Work Experience
- Relevant experience maintaining and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.
- Demonstrated technical knowledge of the assigned equipment technology or technical discipline.
- Experience performing or supporting complex preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
- Experience analyzing recurring equipment failures and implementing sustainable countermeasures.
- Experience developing technical standards, procedures, or maintenance instructions.
- Experience coaching or training Equipment Owners, operators, technicians, or maintenance personnel.
- Experience using SAP PM, MMIS, CMMS, EAM, or an equivalent maintenance-management system.
