As a Luggage Porter, You Will
- * Give every guest a warm and professional welcome and farewell
- Assist guests with their luggage on arrival and departure, including storing and delivering luggage when required
- Assist with the delivery and collection of packages, messages and other guest items
- Respond to guest requests promptly, professionally and with a genuine desire to help
- Provide guests with information about the hotel, its facilities and the surrounding area
- Work closely with the Front Office and other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Help maintain a welcoming, organised and professional entrance and lobby area
- Be attentive to guests' needs and proactively offer assistance whenever possible
The Ideal Candidate For The Luggage Porter Role Will
- * Have a genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
- Have excellent interpersonal skills and easily connect with people from different backgrounds
- Be friendly, approachable and service-minded, with a positive can-do attitude
- Be comfortable working in a busy hotel environment and handling luggage throughout the shift
- Have a good command of English and strong communication skills
- Be flexible and comfortable working different shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Previous experience in a hotel, hospitality or guest-facing environment is an advantage
