Role Description The Longevity Physician will provide comprehensive, preventive, and integrative medical care with a focus on healthy aging and optimal long-term wellness. Responsibilities include conducting thorough patient assessments, reviewing medical histories, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing individualized longevity-focused treatment plans. The physician will use both conventional and evidence-based complementary approaches, such as nutrition guidance, lifestyle interventions, and stress management strategies, aligned with SEED’s holistic philosophy. Day-to-day tasks also include monitoring patient progress, adjusting care plans, collaborating with other wellness practitioners, educating patients on disease prevention and healthy habits, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Doha, Qatar, requiring consistent presence in the clinic and active participation in the SEED multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent), completed residency in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Endocrinology, or a related specialty, and current or eligibility for licensure in Qatar. GPs are not eligible, please do not apply.
- Experience or strong interest in longevity medicine, preventive care, and integrative or functional medicine approaches.
- Demonstrated ability in patient assessment, diagnostic decision-making, and development of individualized treatment and wellness plans.
- Knowledge of lifestyle medicine, including nutrition, exercise, sleep optimization, stress reduction, and behavioral change principles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust, explain complex concepts clearly, and work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice while respecting and integrating traditional healing philosophies where appropriate.
- High ethical standards, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to work with a diverse patient population in an international setting.
- Comfort with electronic health records and basic digital tools to document care and coordinate with other practitioners.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic or other languages is an advantage.
- Prior experience in wellness centers, preventive clinics, or holistic health environments is required.
