Role Description This full-time Lead UX and Product Designer role is an on-site position based in Amman, Jordan. We are looking for a Lead UX & Product Designer who combines strong UX/UI design expertise with product thinking, research, and strategic problem-solving. The ideal candidate will lead the end-to-end design process, understand user and business needs, research market and competitor trends, and translate insights into intuitive, scalable digital products.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, Product Managers, and Engineering teams to identify opportunities, shape product experiences, and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions across web and mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities UX/UI Design: Lead the design process from discovery and user research to user flows, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity UI, usability testing, and developer handoff. * Market & Competitor Research: Analyze competitors, market trends, and user behavior to identify opportunities for product improvement and differentiation. * Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to understand business objectives, gather requirements, and translate them into clear user needs and effective design solutions. * Product Discovery: Collaborate with Product Managers to explore problems, validate ideas, define feature concepts, and improve product usability. * Design Systems: Build and maintain scalable design systems, including reusable components, Figma variables, design tokens, documentation, and consistent design standards. * Cross-functional Delivery: Partner with Engineering teams to ensure design feasibility, accurate implementation, and a consistent user experience. * Continuous Improvement:* Use user feedback, usability testing, and product insights to evaluate and improve existing experiences.
Requirements 8+ years of professional experience in UX/UI or Product Design, supported by a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design. * Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, variables, auto layout, and design tokens. * Proven experience creating and maintaining design systems that support scalable product development. * Mandatory experience designing both mobile applications and web applications, including responsive interfaces and complex user journeys. * Strong experience designing SaaS platforms*, with an understanding of dashboards, complex workflows, data-rich interfaces, and multi-role user experiences. * Solid understanding of user research, information architecture, interaction design, prototyping, usability testing, and accessibility. * Ability to analyze business requirements and user needs, challenge assumptions, and recommend practical, user-centered solutions. * Experience collaborating with Product Managers, Engineers, and business stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle. * Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain design decisions and balance user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints. * Understanding of Arabic UX, right-to-left (RTL) interfaces, and bilingual digital experiences.
