Job Purpose
Provide financial planning, cost control, and analytical support for Medical Services and Medical Insurance activities by monitoring expenditures, evaluating cost performance, conducting financial analyses, and delivering insights that support effective decision-making and cost optimization initiatives.
Key Accountabilities
Cost Management and Control
- Monitor and analyze healthcare-related expenditures to ensure effective cost control and budget utilization.
- Perform variance analysis and identify key cost drivers, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Support the development and implementation of cost optimization initiatives and performance improvement opportunities.
Financial Analysis and Reporting
- Conduct financial and operational analyses to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
- Prepare periodic financial reports, management dashboards, and performance metrics.
- Develop financial models and business cases to evaluate operational and investment opportunities.
Budgeting and Forecasting
- Support the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
- Monitor actual performance against approved budgets and provide recommendations to address deviations.
- Contribute to financial planning activities and resource allocation exercises.
Performance Monitoring
- Track healthcare utilization, cost trends, and financial performance indicators.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve efficiency, resource utilization, and cost effectiveness.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data used for reporting and analysis.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with Medical Services, Medical Insurance, Finance, and other relevant stakeholders to support financial objectives and business requirements.
- Provide analytical support and financial insights to management and business functions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
- CMA, CFA, or other relevant professional certification.
Minimum Experience
- 7+ years of relevant experience in cost control, financial planning, financial analysis, or related finance functions.
- Experience in healthcare, medical services, medical insurance, or other regulated service industries is preferred.
