We are looking for an experienced Lead Planning Engineer with 15+ years of relevant experience in infrastructure and road construction projects to join our Dubai team.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in planning, scheduling, monitoring, and project controls for major road and infrastructure projects in Dubai, preferably with Dubai Municipality (DM) and/or RTA project experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Prepare baseline programmes, detailed construction schedules, recovery programmes, and look-ahead schedules.
- Monitor project progress against approved schedules and identify delays, critical activities, and potential risks.
- Coordinate with Construction, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Design, and Project Management teams to ensure timely project delivery.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and schedule updates.
- Analyse planned vs. actual progress and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- Prepare and monitor 2-week, 3-week, and monthly look-ahead programmes.
- Track manpower, resources, productivity, and construction activities against the approved programme.
- Identify critical path activities and assess the impact of delays on project completion.
- Support preparation of EOT, delay analysis, recovery programmes, and time-related claims where required.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders regarding programme and progress matters.
- Review contractor programmes and assess progress against contractual milestones.
- Attend progress meetings and provide planning updates and schedule-related inputs.
- Ensure project planning and reporting comply with client and project requirements.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- 15+ years of overall experience, with strong experience in Infrastructure / Roads / Civil Construction projects.
- Proven experience in site construction and project supervision environments.
- Strong experience in Dubai road and infrastructure projects.
- Dubai Municipality (DM) and/or RTA project experience is highly preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6.
- Good understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, project controls, and planning principles.
- Experience working with consultants, contractors, clients, and project management teams.
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling, progress monitoring, critical path analysis, and delay management.
- UAE/GCC infrastructure project experience is preferred.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong Dubai roads & infrastructure construction experience.
- Previous exposure to DM / RTA projects.
- Excellent Primavera P6 planning and scheduling skills.
- Strong understanding of site execution and construction activities, not only office-based planning.
- Experience in consultant/PMC or contractor-side infrastructure projects.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, site-based project environment.

- Working Hours: 48 hours per week
- Working Days: 6 days per week
- Work Environment: Primarily site/project-based
- Candidates must be willing to work on Dubai infrastructure and road construction projects.
