☁️ About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team and take ownership of our cloud infrastructure, automation, deployment, and operational practices.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role for someone with 10+ years of experience who can combine deep technical expertise with leadership, mentoring, and project ownership.
üõ†Ô∏è Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure.
- Take technical ownership of infrastructure and DevOps projects from design through to production.
- Work closely with software engineers and technical stakeholders to deliver infrastructure aligned with business and engineering goals.
- Design and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines, automation, and deployment processes.
- Deploy and operate containerised applications using Docker on AWS.
- Implement effective monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, and observability across production environments.
- Ensure infrastructure is secure, reliable, properly maintained, and kept up to date.
- Contribute to architecture decisions and establish strong engineering and operational standards.
- Mentor engineers, promote knowledge sharing, and help reduce key-person dependencies.
- Drive continuous improvement across people, processes, architecture, and technology.
- Champion the adoption of AI-native engineering practices across the team.
üí° Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, SRE, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience at Senior / Lead level, with strong technical ownership and leadership capabilities.
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS and production cloud environments.
- Strong Linux/Unix system administration experience.
- Strong experience with Docker and containerised applications.
- Solid experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or equivalent.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting in microservices environments.
- Experience with relational databases and RDBMS administration.
- Professional experience with Python and/or Java.
- Strong understanding of cloud security and production infrastructure.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Proven ability to mentor engineers and drive technical best practices.
- Willingness to embrace AI-native engineering practices.
- Professional working proficiency in English.

- AWS certification.
- Experience testing Infrastructure as Code.
- DNS management experience.
- Experience with Puppet, Chef, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.
- Experience with SRE, reliability engineering, or large-scale distributed systems.
