Rasans is hiring a Landscape Designer
We’re looking for a Landscape Designer with strong planting knowledge and a creative eye to design gardens and green spaces, develop planting plans, and produce 2D drawings and 3D visualizations.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct site surveys and design or redesign gardens, farms, and green spaces.
Select and arrange trees, shrubs, groundcovers, and hedges based on their size, color, texture, and growth habits.
Create balanced planting schemes that provide visual appeal throughout the year.
Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings covering planting layouts, pathways, and preliminary irrigation layouts.
Develop 3D visualizations to present design concepts to clients.Incorporate plants available at the nursery into designs to support nursery sales.
Prepare Bills of Quantities, including scientific and common plant names, quantities, and sizes.
Monitor site implementation and ensure alignment with approved designs.
Qualifications and Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD and at least one 3D design or visualization tool, such as SketchUp, Lumion, or Realtime Landscaping Architect.
Good knowledge of local and imported plants, their water requirements, and growth rates.
Strong skills in color coordination, planting composition, and spatial design.
Ability to translate client requirements into practical, achievable designs.
A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Agricultural Engineering, Architecture, or Landscape Architecture, or proven practical experience supported by a strong portfolio
