WESAL CX is a leading provider of innovative CX solutions for Genesys contact center, CRM, and software platforms, helping businesses across Egypt and the Middle East transform their customer experience. We're growing our engineering team and looking for a Junior Systems Engineer who's eager to learn, loves solving problems, and wants to grow alongside experienced engineers.
What you'll do
- Help deploy, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and cloud environments
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they come up
- Automate routine tasks with scripting (Bash, PowerShell, or Python)
- Support patching, backups, and security best practices
- Document systems and processes so the whole team benefits
- Work closely with senior engineers on infrastructure projects
What we're looking for
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
- 0–2 years of experience in systems, IT support, or infrastructure
- Working knowledge of Linux and/or Windows Server
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Curiosity, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn
Nice to have
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Familiarity with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) or containers (Docker)
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Linux+, or CCNA
