For a strategic specialist support service on an international project based in New Cairo, Egypt, we are currently looking for a:
Junior Project Manager Officer
The selected candidate will support the Project Management team in the coordination and monitoring of engineering and project execution activities related to Offshore & Subsea Oil & Gas developments.
Main Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers in the day-to-day execution of project activities.
- Track project progress and key milestones.
- Monitor schedules, action lists, and project deliverables.
- Coordinate interfaces between engineering disciplines and stakeholders.
- Support project reporting activities and preparation of progress reports.
- Review and manage project documentation.
- Follow up on open actions with clients, suppliers, and contractors.
- Assist in organizing technical and project meetings and preparing minutes of meetings.
- Support project controls, planning, and project coordination activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineerin, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- 1-5 years of experience in project coordination, project management support, engineering projects, or industrial environments.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with project planning and reporting tools is considered an advantage.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Good command of English.
Contract Information
- Work Location: New Cairo, Egypt
- Start Date: 01/11/2026
- End Date: 30/11/2027, with a high probability of extension
- Required Languages: Arabic (Egyptian) and English
- Contract Type: Employment contract or consultancy agreement with PROGECO GROUP
