As a Junior Financial Lines Underwriter, you will support the underwriting of financial risks, evaluate policy submissions, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver effective risk solutions while developing your expertise.
ùêñùê°ùêöùê≠ ùê≤ùê®ùêÆ‚Äôùê•ùê• ùêùùê®:
• Evaluate and underwrite financial lines risks including:
Directors & Officers (D&O)
Professional Indemnity
Cyber Insurance
• Assess client profiles to determine risk exposure, coverage terms, and pricing
• Support senior underwriters in risk analysis and portfolio management
• Liaise with brokers and internal stakeholders for policy placement and servicing
• Review submissions, policy documentation, and endorsements
• Stay updated on market trends, regulatory requirements, and underwriting guidelines
• Assist in maintaining underwriting standards and profitability
ùêÑùê•ùê¢ùê†ùê¢ùêõùê¢ùê•ùê¢ùê≠ùê≤:
• 3–4 years of experience in financial lines underwriting
• Prior experience in the GCC/UAE insurance market is preferred
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn
• Based in the UAE or open to relocation
• Willingness to travel as required
