We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Joinery Draftsman with a minimum of 2 years of experience in joinery or woodworking projects. The candidate must be capable of preparing accurate shop drawings, production drawings, and detailed joinery drawings for custom-made furniture and wooden works.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed shop drawings and production drawings for joinery and wooden works.
- Develop drawings for wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, doors, wall panels, vanity units, TV units, reception counters, and custom-made furniture.
- Prepare plans, elevations, sections, assembly details, and fabrication drawings.
- Coordinate with the design, estimation, production, and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy.
- Read and interpret architectural drawings, interior design drawings, and project specifications.
- Prepare material details, cutting lists, and hardware specifications when required.
- Revise drawings based on site measurements, consultant comments, and client requirements.
- Ensure all drawings are practical and suitable for workshop fabrication and site installation.
Skills
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years or more of experience as a Draftsman in joinery or woodworking.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) is essential.
- Good knowledge of joinery construction, wooden materials, laminates, veneers, hardware, and finishes.
- Ability to prepare detailed shop drawings and fabrication drawings independently.
- Strong understanding of dimensions, measurements, and technical details.
- Good coordination, communication, and time-management skills.
- Experience in the UAE joinery industry is an advantage.
