Role Purpose
The FF&E Specialist coordinates the complete furniture, fixtures and equipment scope from design development and technical specification through procurement, manufacturing, delivery, installation and handover. The role ensures that every item satisfies the approved design intent, employer requirements, project specifications, budget, programme, quality expectations and applicable standards.
The position serves as the technical coordination point among the client, consultant, interior designers, manufacturers, suppliers, procurement team, logistics team, quality team and site execution team.

Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Furniture Design, Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Typically 5-10 years of relevant experience in FF&E, interior fit-out, furniture manufacturing or project delivery.
• Demonstrated experience with customized and catalogue furniture on commercial, hospitality, corporate, government, residential or institutional projects.
• Practical experience in technical submissions, shop drawings, samples, mock-ups, factory inspections, logistics and installation.
• Experience coordinating international manufacturers and multiple furniture packages; GCC or Qatar experience is preferred.
• Relevant professional certification in interior design, furniture technology, procurement or project management is an advantage.
Required Technical Knowledge
• Furniture construction, manufacturing and assembly methods.
• Timber, veneer, MDF, plywood, metal, glass, stone, fabrics, leather, artificial leather, foam, padding, hardware and accessories.
• Ergonomics, accessibility, stability, strength, durability and fire-performance requirements.
• Integrated power, data, USB, wireless-charging, lighting and AV provisions.
• Technical drawings, construction details, BOQ, specifications and contract documentation.
• Material approval, quality-control, procurement, production, logistics and installation processes.
Software Skills
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; working knowledge of Revit, SketchUp or other design software is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Project or similar planning software and document-management platforms such as Aconex or Procore.
