As an engineer at Adyen, you will be responsible for the full development cycle from software design to testing and ensuring everything works as expected in production. You will work with one of the biggest PostgreSQL databases out there, focusing on maintaining the platform's performance and reliability.
We are looking for Java Engineers and Senior Java Engineers for a number of teams within our payments solution.Payments SolutionAs a Java Software Engineer within payments solution, you will build and improve integrations at a global scale for in-store and online payments. We make sure that our merchants and partners have a seamless integration with the Adyen platform.
We Are Responsible ForBuilding the best and most efficient payment engine globallyBuilding connections to all relevant payment methods and card schemes (Visa,Mastercard, Amex, etc) worldwide. Removing the complexity for our businesses to integrate them separately. Create a high-available, highly-scalable payment processing platform and connect to hundreds of external APIs. Given our global scale, automating all core processes to match funds to the penny, is a continuous challenge.
Deliver An Industry Leading User ExperienceExpand and modernize our portal for our external and internal users. Build a foundation where other solutions can build on top of. You will work on new features for our portal, improving the performance of existing frameworks or building automation APIs which enable platform growth in a scalable way. You will be focusing on providing APIs and UIs to our Merchants to enable self-service.
