About AntlerAntler is a global early-stage VC firm that partners with exceptional founders from day zero to build impactful, scalable companies. We believe exceptional companies are built by exceptional people - often before an idea, team, or company exists. Our role is to find those people early, surround them with the right co-founders, capital, and conviction, and help them build ambitious, venture-scale businesses from scratch.
Founded in 2017, Antler now operates in 27 cities across six continents. Globally, we’ve helped create and invest in over 1,900 companies (including Lovable, Airalo and Peec AI) and supported more than 10,000 founders - with the ambition to back thousands more over the coming decade.
In the Nordics, we are building one of the most active and hands-on early-stage investment firms in the ecosystem, backing founders from inception through to scale.
The Role
Antler invests in founders from inception. To excel at that we find exceptional founders early and work closely with them as they build.
This role is at the heart of our core investment team. You will identify, select, and invest in founders, and work further with them as portfolio companies through scaling and raising their next rounds. You report directly to a Partner.
This is a hands-on, high-ownership role: fully in-office, high-intensity, and not a 9-to-5 job.
What You’ll Do
Find and back outlier founders
- Spend most of your time identifying and attracting outlier founders and businesses through active origination, e.g. through content creation, marketing, outreach, conference and ecosystem engagement
- Build, nurture and leverage relationships in technical, operator, and founder communities
- Win over strong people to partner with Antler as their first investor
- Assess founders and businesses to decide who we bring into the office to work with
- Work closely with founders and companies over weeks, and ultimately drive which companies we invest in; prepare due diligence, bring decisions to IC.
Work with founders
- Work alongside founders before and after investment, e.g. for sparring on validation and building momentum. Much of the work happens in the office, sitting with founders as they build.
- Nurture and leverage your connectivity in the ecosystem to support founders and portfolio companies, e.g. with fundraising, winning customers, partners, and hiring when it matters
Help build Antler
- Be an active leader in the small core team building Antler in Continental Europe
- Pull junior team members and interns along through example, ownership, and high pace.
- Take ownership beyond your role when something needs fixing or improving - from emptying the dishwasher to running global initiatives across Antler.
Who This Is For
You have 2-4+ years of experience in early-stage investing or as a founder/operator who has raised money. You have proven yourself in highly competitive environments.
You Are
- * Strong with people: sharp in conversation, good judgment, able to build relationships and followership
- Curious, fast-learning, and commercially grounded with strong energy and the desire to contribute to making a difference every day
- Highly independent and comfortable working without close oversight or frequent feedback
- Comfortable working with modern tools and automation (e.g. Airtable, Zapier, n8n, Cursor). We strongly prefer candidates with full technical backgrounds - software, hardware, or research - who have built or shipped real systems.
- Able to run multiple threads without losing quality
Who Should Not Apply
This Role Is Not a Good Fit If You
- * Want to spend most of your time on research, trends, or sector analysis and become an expert in a particular field of work
- Need constant feedback, validation, or tightly scoped instructions
- Are looking for a hybrid or remote role - this is 100% in-person
- Are uncomfortable with ambiguity, pace, or taking full ownership
- Want a predictable 9-to-5 schedule, or the flexibility to work Berlin winters from Cape Town
- Get frustrated by operational detail, logistics, or repetition
- Want to “learn VC” more than do the work
CompensationFixed salary is competitive and investment team members participate meaningfully in long-term upside through carry.
This role is a good fit for people who are motivated by ownership, outcomes, long-term impact and upside
