Job PurposeBased in Amman, the Inventory Controller will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the effective control, availability, and movement of stock across the Jordan business.
The role will monitor stock levels, coordinate inventory transactions, conduct cycle counts and reconciliations, manage batch, serial number, and expiry-date controls, and work closely with Supply Chain, Logistics, Customer Service, Sales, Finance, and external service providers.
Your Role
- Maintain accurate inventory records within SAP/ERP and ensure that all stock movements are recorded correctly and on time.
- Monitor receipts, transfers, returns, adjustments, reservations, and dispatches.
- Perform regular cycle counts, physical stock counts, and inventory reconciliations.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor batch numbers, serial numbers, and product expiry dates to ensure full traceability.
- Apply FEFO/FIFO principles and support the appropriate rotation of stock.
- Monitor slow-moving, short-dated, excess, obsolete, damaged, and blocked inventory.
- Manage quarantine stock and ensure that products are released, returned, or disposed of according to approved procedures.
- Coordinate incoming shipments and verify quantities, product details, and supporting documentation.
- Work closely with warehouse and logistics partners to ensure accurate receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch activities.
- Support demand planning and replenishment by providing accurate inventory data and stock-availability reports.
- Prepare regular inventory reports, including stock levels, ageing, expiry exposure, discrepancies, and inventory adjustments.
- Support product returns, recall activities, credit processes, and stock investigations when required.
- Ensure inventory documentation is complete, accurate, and available for internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with Finance on inventory valuation, reconciliations, provisions, and month-end or year-end closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality requirements, and applicable local regulations.
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and internal controls.

Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, supply chain, logistics, or a related role.
- Experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare, FMCG, or other regulated industry is preferred.
- Good working knowledge of inventory processes, stock reconciliation, cycle counting, and warehouse controls.
- Experience using SAP or another ERP system is required.
- Strong Excel and data-analysis skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to investigate discrepancies and follow issues through to resolution.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.

- Fluency in Arabic and good command of English.
- Valid authorization to work in Jordan.
