Job Purpose:
Represent the Owner in managing and overseeing the site delivery of mechanical infrastructure and MEP works for major development projects. The role is responsible for coordinating consultants, contractors, and PMT teams to ensure mechanical works are delivered in line with approved designs, NWC and Saudi Energy requirements, applicable standards, quality, cost, and schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the site delivery of mechanical infrastructure and MEP works, including water supply, wastewater networks, pumping stations, and related utility systems.
- Represent the Owner in coordinating consultants, contractors, utility providers, PMT teams, and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review mechanical designs, shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical proposals to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Monitor contractor performance, project progress, quality, risks, and schedule, and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
- Coordinate mechanical works with civil, electrical, and other infrastructure and building works to ensure proper interfaces and timely execution.
- Ensure compliance with approved designs, NWC and Saudi Energy requirements, applicable standards, and authority requirements, including testing, commissioning, and handover.
Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
- Minimum of 6 years of experience
- Strong knowledge of NWC and Saudi Energy requirements
