Job Responsibilities
- * Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems and equipment.
- Perform electrical maintenance on motors, generators, transformers, control panels, MCCs, and distribution systems.
- Diagnose electrical faults using testing instruments and appropriate troubleshooting methods.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of plant machinery and electrical equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Perform cable laying, termination, glanding, and electrical connections.
- Inspect electrical equipment and identify potential faults to prevent breakdowns.
- Assist with installation and maintenance of VFDs, contactors, relays, sensors, and control circuits.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with safety regulations and company procedures.
- Maintain maintenance records and report electrical problems to the supervisor or engineer.
