We are looking for an experienced Heavy Electrician with strong hands-on exposure to industrial electrical maintenance, switchgear installation, cable works, and motor-related activities. Candidates should be comfortable working independently within industrial units, factories, or manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform DB dressing, cable trunking, cable laying, and termination activities.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical switchgear, distribution boards, and control panels.
- Carry out motor winding, motor maintenance, and basic motor troubleshooting.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems in industrial units and factories.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Identify electrical faults and carry out repairs and replacements as required.
- Support installation and maintenance of industrial electrical equipment and machinery.
- Conduct inspection of cables, panels, breakers, contactors, relays, and related electrical components.
- Ensure proper cable identification, termination, dressing, and labeling.
- Follow electrical safety procedures, PPE requirements, and site HSE standards.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, and completed work.
- Coordinate with supervisors and maintenance teams for shutdowns and repair activities.
Candidate Requirements
- ITI / Diploma / Technical qualification in Electrical or related discipline preferred.
- Previous experience as a Heavy Electrician / Industrial Electrician / Maintenance Electrician.
- Hands-on experience in:
- DB dressing
- Cable trunking
- Cable termination
- Motor winding
- Switchgear installation
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings.
- Experience in industrial plants, factories, manufacturing units, warehouses, or similar environments.
- Good troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
- Knowledge of electrical safety practices and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to work independently and handle breakdown situations.
