JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a motivated and experienced HR Officer to join our Human Resources Department.
The successful candidate will support the full range of HR activities, with particular focus on recruitment, manpower coordination, employee onboarding, employee relations, performance management, HR documentation, and training coordination.
The ideal candidate will have practical HR experience within the construction, contracting, engineering, or project-based industry and be comfortable working with employees, supervisors, managers, and project teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruitment & Manpower Planning
- Coordinate manpower requirements with line managers and department heads.
- Source and identify suitable candidates for available positions.
- Conduct initial HR screening and coordinate technical evaluations with relevant departments.
- Coordinate interviews and selection activities.
- Prepare offer letters and employment contracts in coordination with the HR Manager.
- Coordinate with manpower agencies and recruitment sources as required.
Employee Onboarding
- Coordinate the onboarding process for newly hired employees.
- Ensure that all required employee documents are properly completed and submitted to the relevant departments.
- Conduct new-joiner orientation covering company policies, procedures, culture, and organizational requirements.
Employee Relations & HR Administration
- Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and management.
- Prepare HR correspondence and disciplinary documentation, including warning letters, termination letters, and other HR-related letters.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
- Coordinate with supervisors and managers regarding employee-related matters.
General HR Responsibilities
- Support the HR team in implementing company policies and procedures.
- Assist with other HR projects and initiatives as required.
- Perform other duties assigned by the HR Manager or HR Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant HR experience.
- Previous experience in the construction, contracting, engineering, infrastructure, or project-based industry is highly preferred.
- Practical experience in recruitment, manpower coordination, onboarding, employee relations, and HR administration.
- Experience dealing with both office-based and site/project employees is an advantage.
