Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Homeroom Teacher role based in Doha, Qatar. The Homeroom Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering daily lessons across core subjects, aligning instruction with the school’s curriculum and learning standards. The role includes managing the classroom environment, monitoring student progress, and maintaining clear communication with parents, guardians, and school leadership. The teacher will prepare instructional materials, assess student work, provide feedback, and contribute to student reports. Additional responsibilities may include participating in staff meetings, professional development activities, and school events, while fostering an inclusive and positive classroom culture.
Qualifications
- Strong Teaching and Education experience, with the ability to support diverse learning needs.
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning, including setting clear objectives and structuring engaging activities.
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with students, families, and colleagues.
- Experience in Training or mentoring students in academic and behavioral expectations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification or license is preferred.
- Previous homeroom or primary classroom teaching experience, ideally in an international or multicultural setting.
- Ability to create an inclusive, safe, and student-centered learning environment.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
