Job Summary
Khidmah is seeking an Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) Officer to implement and oversee site safety management systems in line with KSA regulations and ISO standards (9001, 14001, 50001, 45001). The role ensures zero-harm environments across site operations through risk assessments, daily inspections, emergency readiness, and incident response.
Key Responsibilities
- HSE Management & Compliance: Maintain site HSE documentation, hazard assessments (HIRA), and environmental plans adhering to ISO standards and local legal requirements. Review and approve method statements, risk assessments, emergency plans, and work permits.
- Site Supervision & Inspections: Conduct regular safety audits, facility checks, hygiene evaluations, and PPE enforcement. Report daily violations, track corrective actions, and oversee chemical storage safety (COSHH/SDS).
- Training & Emergency Preparedness: Lead site safety inductions, regular Toolbox Talks (TBT), emergency response planning, and evacuation drills.
- Incident Investigation & Reporting: Investigate site accidents/near-misses, perform root cause analysis (RCA), implement corrective measures, and compile monthly HSE KPI reports.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Represent the QHSE Manager in client/stakeholder safety meetings, coordinate monthly HSE committees, and support contractor prequalification.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Science, OSH, or equivalent.
- Certifications:
- NEBOSH IGC or equivalent Level 3 certification (Mandatory).
- ISO 9001, 14001, or 45001 Internal Auditor certification (Preferred).
- First Aid & Firefighting training (Advantageous).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in FM, Construction, Oil & Gas, or Manufacturing, with 3–5 years of HSE experience in KSA.
