Your new position and responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Health, Safety, Environmental and Facility Management functions
- Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, environmental and fire protection regulations
- Implement and maintain HSE management systems (ISO 45001 / ISO 14001)
- Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive and corrective measures
- Drive incident investigations, root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
- Organize safety training, awareness programs and emergency response activities
- Manage environmental protection programs, waste management and hazardous substances
- Ensure business continuity, emergency preparedness and site safety standards
- Oversee facility operations, maintenance, technical infrastructure and utility systems
- Manage electrical, HVAC, water, wastewater, compressed air and other building systems
- Plan and supervise maintenance, renovation, modernization and infrastructure projects
- Coordinate contractors, suppliers and external service providers
- Ensure completion of inspections, audits, certifications and regulatory requirements
- Manage budgets, monitor costs and identify efficiency and optimization opportunities
- Drive sustainability, energy management and operational excellence initiatives
- Ensure safe, clean and functional workplace conditions across the site
- Prepare reports, KPIs and management presentations
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, authorities and external partners
Your Profile
- Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Facility Management, Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in HSE, Facility Management, Maintenance, Technical Infrastructure, or related functions within a manufacturing environment
- At least 5 years of leadership experience, including team development, performance management, and budget responsibility
- Automotive industry experience required
- Experience in wiring harness manufacturing is a strong advantage
- Strong knowledge of health & safety, environmental, fire protection, and facility-related regulations
- Experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems
- Proven experience in facility operations, maintenance management, and infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production environments
- Experience managing external contractors, suppliers, and service providers
- Experience in budget planning, cost control, and resource management
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- High level of ownership, initiative, and commitment to continuous improvement
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management systems
- Fluent English and French language skills
- Arabic and additional language skills are considered an advantage
- Willingness to travel
