Quality management system: Owns the Pearl Group QA/QC Policy, all PPS-QC test methods, and the controlled-document framework. Maintains ISO 9001 (or equivalent) certification and prepares the organisation for customer and third-party audits. Ensures test method consistency across the four sites and reconciles site-level deviations. Site QC capability: Defines and maintains a Site QC Competency Matrix — which technicians are certified for which products, test methods, and decision levels — and certifies and re-certifies site staff against it. Standardises QC training content and onboarding across sites. Data, trends and escalation: Monitors group-wide quality KPIs (customer complaints, COA failure rate, internal retest rate, OOS frequency). Applies SPC and trend analysis. Maintains the escalation rule that distinguishes what is closed at site level from what must be referred to HQ. The QC Head intervenes on patterns and exceptions, not on individual in spec batches. Voice of Customer and Management of Change: Translates customer specifications, COA requirements, and regulatory demands into internal procedures. Leads MOC reviews for raw material substitutions, formulation changes, and new product releases from a quality risk perspective. Owns root-cause analysis and CAPA closure for customer complaints. Audits and compliance: Plans and leads the annual internal audit programme, including cross-site audits. Acts as the company's quality representative for customer and certification audits. Maintains the audit findings register and drives closure to agreed timelines.
