Role Description The Head of Investment Banking at SOLARSOL EG is a full-time, on-site position based in New Cairo. This role leads the investment banking function, including originating, structuring, and executing transactions that support the company’s solar projects and strategic growth initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing financial modeling for project finance and M&A, managing due diligence processes, and evaluating investment opportunities across regional markets. The role also involves building and maintaining relationships with investors, lenders, and strategic partners; guiding negotiation of term sheets and financing agreements; and ensuring compliance with internal governance and relevant regulations. The Head of Investment Banking will collaborate closely with executive leadership, technical teams, and external advisors to align capital structure and funding strategies with SOLARSOL EG’s long-term sustainability and expansion goals.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Finance, with the ability to interpret complex financial information and support strategic decision-making.
- In-depth experience in Investment Banking, including transaction origination, structuring, and execution.
- Proven track record in Investments, particularly in infrastructure, energy, or renewable energy sectors.
- Advanced Financial Modeling skills for project finance, valuations, scenario analysis, and capital structure optimization.
- Hands-on experience in Due Diligence, including commercial, financial, and operational reviews for investment transactions.
- Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; a master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA) is an advantage.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience managing teams and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with renewable energy markets, project finance structures, and regional regulatory frameworks is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in New Cairo and engage regularly with regional and international partners.
