COMPANY DESCRIPTION
BLACKBULL LAW HOUSE, a corporate legal and LegalTech organization working in coordination with the BLACKBULL Chamber of Investment, is developing an integrated India–GCC platform covering legal management, investment structuring, asset management, project finance, institutional fundraising, and financial-channel development.
BLACKBULL is expanding its international capital network across Bahrain, Riyadh and the UAE to establish relationships with banks, family offices, investment companies, asset managers, private credit institutions, strategic investors, corporate groups, and other qualified capital providers.
The principal objective is to mobilize international capital for qualified Indian projects while developing a scalable institutional framework connecting Indian assets, businesses and project opportunities with GCC capital and financial institutions.
POSITION – DIRECTOR OF FUNDRAISING
BLACKBULL is seeking a highly experienced Director of Fundraising with practical knowledge of:
Fundraising | Banking | Asset Management | Project Finance | Bank Credit | Structured Finance | Institutional Investment | Private Credit | Asset-Backed Finance | Cross-Border Capital
This is not a general sales or relationship-management position.
The Director will be expected to take a leadership role in developing investor relationships, structuring fundraising strategies, identifying appropriate banking and credit channels, and progressing qualified transactions toward financial closure.
The ideal candidate should understand how a pre-revenue project can be professionally presented and capitalized based on its business model, promoter contribution, intellectual property, underlying assets, contractual opportunities, projected cash flows, strategic partnerships, market potential and future revenue capacity.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Director of Fundraising will:
- Develop fundraising channels across Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, UAE and the wider GCC.
- Establish direct relationships with family offices, banks, investment institutions, private credit funds, asset managers, PE funds, strategic investors and corporate institutions.
- Develop capital-raising strategies for BLACKBULL and qualified Indian projects.
- Arrange suitable equity, debt, structured finance, project finance, asset-backed finance, private credit and strategic investment opportunities.
- Evaluate Indian assets and businesses for international investment potential.
- Develop investor presentations, financial structures, investment propositions and transaction strategies.
- Coordinate valuation, financial modelling, due diligence, risk assessment and investment documentation.
- Negotiate commercial terms with investors, lenders and financial institutions.
- Build long-term institutional relationships rather than transaction-only introductions.
- Coordinate with BLACKBULL's legal, finance, investment and management teams through transaction execution.
NEW BANKING & FINANCIAL CHANNEL DEVELOPMENT
A significant part of the mandate will involve supporting BLACKBULL's proposed development of new banking and financial channels connected with India.
The Director should understand bank credit, NBFC structures, lending models, asset-backed financing, institutional capital, escrow mechanisms, investment vehicles and financial portfolio development.
Responsibilities may include identifying appropriate banking partners, investors and strategic institutions for the development, capitalization, acquisition, partnership or alliance of regulated financial businesses in India.
The Director may also support relationships between GCC capital providers and Indian banks, NBFCs, investment platforms and other regulated institutions.
All banking, NBFC, lending, investment-management and financial activities will remain subject to applicable licensing, regulatory approvals and jurisdiction-specific requirements.
ASSET MANAGEMENT & PROJECT FINANCE
The successful candidate must understand the difference between simply raising capital and developing an institutionally investable asset portfolio.
The Director will help evaluate opportunities involving:
Commercial Assets | Industrial Assets | Operating Businesses | Acquisition Opportunities | Corporate Expansion | Infrastructure | Financial Assets | Revenue Portfolios | Distressed/Special-Situation Assets | Asset-Backed Projects
The objective is to structure suitable opportunities around independently supportable valuations, security, projected cash flow, repayment capacity, investor returns and exit strategies.
Investment structures may include equity participation, interest-bearing finance, revenue participation, profit sharing, strategic investment, acquisition finance or other legally permissible structures depending on the project and investor requirements.
PRE-REVENUE PROJECT EXPERTISE
BLACKBULL's development platform includes projects that may be at a pre-revenue or early commercialization stage.
Accordingly, applicants must understand that conventional bank credit may not always be suitable for pre-revenue ventures.
The Director should be capable of identifying the appropriate capital source—such as strategic equity, growth capital, private credit, project finance, asset-backed finance, family-office capital or institutional partnerships—based on the actual risk profile of each project.
Candidates should be capable of converting a complex project proposition into an investment case that sophisticated investors and financial institutions can independently evaluate.
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
Preference will be given to candidates with 10–15+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, fundraising, corporate banking, asset management, project finance, private equity, private credit, structured finance, institutional investment or related financial sectors.
Candidates should possess:
- Strong relationships with GCC investors and financial institutions.
- Demonstrable fundraising or transaction experience.
- Advanced understanding of bank credit and project finance.
- Knowledge of asset management and asset-backed investment structures.
- Experience dealing with large corporate or institutional transactions.
- Understanding of Indian and GCC investment environments.
- Strong commercial negotiation and presentation capabilities.
- Ability to coordinate international investor relationships from origination through due diligence and transaction closure.
Existing relationships in Bahrain, Riyadh/Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and the wider GCC investment ecosystem will be a significant advantage.
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
BLACKBULL is specifically seeking an execution-oriented fundraising leader.
Applicants should be prepared to demonstrate:
- Previous fundraising and project-finance transactions.
- Investor and institutional relationship categories they can realistically access.
- Their approach to raising capital for a pre-revenue project.
- Their experience with asset-backed and cash-flow-based transactions.
- Their understanding of bank credit and financial-institution requirements.
- Their ability to develop GCC–India investment relationships.
- Their proposed fundraising strategy and realistic execution timeline.
- Their ability to support new banking/NBFC and institutional financial-channel development.
COMPENSATION & LONG-TERM OPPORTUNITY
For a suitably qualified professional with demonstrable execution capability, BLACKBULL can consider:
Competitive Salary + Performance-Based Fundraising Incentives + Transaction Benefits + Potential Equity Participation
Final compensation and equity participation will depend upon experience, responsibilities, measurable fundraising capability, institutional relationships, transaction execution and long-term contribution.
BLACKBULL is looking for a Director of Fundraising who understands capital—not merely introductions.
The objective is to build a long-term India–UAE–Saudi Arabia–Bahrain financial corridor capable of connecting credible Indian projects, businesses and asset portfolios with appropriate GCC investors, banks and institutional capital while maintaining appropriate legal, regulatory, banking and investment controls.
