Job Description Carry out general handyman, repair, painting, and maintenance works throughout the hotel. * Perform painting and touch-up works in guest rooms, corridors, public areas, restaurants, offices, and back-of-house areas. * Prepare surfaces by sanding, filling, scraping, patching, and cleaning before painting. * Carry out minor carpentry, plumbing, tiling, plastering, and general repair works as required. * Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete assigned work orders within the required timeframe. * Inspect walls, ceilings, doors, fixtures, furniture, and other areas for damage and defects. * Support the Engineering team with preventive maintenance, refurbishment, and renovation projects. * Ensure all painting and repair work meets the hotel’s quality, appearance, and brand standards. * Protect furniture, flooring, fixtures, and guest areas while carrying out maintenance or painting works. * Maintain tools, equipment, materials, and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition. * Follow all hotel health, safety, fire, environmental, and chemical-handling procedures. * Report major defects, safety hazards, equipment issues, and additional maintenance requirements to the Engineering Supervisor. * Demonstrate the “Yes I Can!”* attitude by providing friendly, responsive, and solution-focused service to guests and team members.
