Group Logistics Manager
Centralized Logistics
Raban Al Safina Group is seeking a Group Logistics Manager to lead centralized logistics across its companies and coordinate the reliable movement, storage and delivery of materials, equipment and project cargo.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop group logistics plans aligned with project schedules and operating requirements.
- Manage domestic and international freight, customs coordination, transport and final delivery to sites.
- Coordinate project cargo, heavy or oversized loads, route planning and specialist transport providers where required.
- Oversee warehousing, receiving, preservation, inventory visibility and intercompany transfers.
- Manage carriers and logistics service providers against cost, delivery, damage and service performance measures.
- Establish group procedures for documentation, shipment tracking, claims, contingency planning and logistics reporting.
Requirements
- Proven logistics leadership across multiple companies, sites or large industrial projects.
- Hands-on experience with freight forwarding, customs documentation, warehousing and domestic distribution.
- Demonstrated management of project equipment and complex delivery schedules.
- Strong cost control, provider negotiation and operational problem-solving skills.
- Experience using ERP or logistics systems to improve shipment and inventory visibility.
- Ability to coordinate procurement, project teams, finance, warehouses and external logistics partners.
Preferred: A relevant logistics, supply chain or business qualification; experience with industrial project cargo and Iraqi transport and clearance processes.
