About the Role
Reef Group is seeking an experienced and highly proactive Government Relations Officer to manage and follow up on government-related transactions and field activities in Madinah.
The role requires a strong understanding of government entities, procedures, and local requirements, with the ability to build effective relationships, follow up on transactions, resolve issues, and ensure timely completion of government-related matters.
The ideal candidate should be highly familiar with government departments and authorities in Madinah, comfortable with field work, and capable of representing the company professionally when dealing with different government entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent Reef Group before relevant government entities and authorities in Madinah.
- Follow up on government transactions, permits, licenses, approvals, and official requirements.
- Visit government offices and authorities as required to complete company-related procedures.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with government representatives and relevant stakeholders.
- Follow up on pending transactions and ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding required documents, approvals, and government-related procedures.
- Resolve government process issues, delays, and administrative challenges.
- Maintain accurate records of government transactions, correspondence, and completed procedures.
- Stay updated on changes in government requirements, regulations, and procedures.
- Support opening, licensing, and operational requirements for company locations when needed.
- Coordinate with municipalities, ministries, chambers, civil defense, labor-related entities, and other relevant authorities.
- Provide regular updates and reports on the status of government transactions and pending actions.
- Ensure professional representation of the company during all external and field interactions.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, Management, or a related field.
- 1+ years of relevant experience in Government Relations, Government Affairs, or government transaction follow-up.
- Strong knowledge of government entities, procedures, and administrative processes in Saudi Arabia.
- Strong familiarity with government offices and authorities in Madinah.
- Proven experience in field-based government follow-up and transaction completion.
- Good understanding of government platforms and official procedures.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to follow up persistently and professionally until transactions are completed.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Valid Saudi driving license and willingness to work in the field.
- Arabic fluency is required; English is an advantage.
