Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced GDL- BSW Test Automation to lead the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of test automation solutions supporting automotive ECU Platform and AUTOSAR Basic Software (BSW) development. This role serves as the key link between stakeholders, validation organizations and global engineering teams, driving automation adoption, improving test efficiency, and ensuring high-quality software releases through scalable and reliable test frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of BSW test automation initiatives across ECU platform programs.
- Define and drive the test automation roadmap, strategy, and execution plans.
- Coordinate activities across validation teams, developers, product owners, and engineering organizations.
- Drive automation coverage, test efficiency improvements, and regression test optimization.
- Manage delivery plans, dependencies, risks, escalations, and resource coordination.
- Support release verification and ensure automation readiness for software releases.
- Lead knowledge transfer activities and build sustainable offshore test automation capabilities.
- Establish best practices, metrics, and governance for test automation delivery.

- CI/CD Pipeline Integration and Automated Testing.
- Regression Testing and Test Management.
- Requirements Traceability and Test Coverage Analysis.
- Defect Management and Quality Assurance Processes.
- dSPACE, Fault Injection, and Automated Verification Environments.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in test automation, software validation, or quality engineering within the automotive domain.
- Proven experience leading automation teams and large-scale validation activities.
- Experience working with OEMs, suppliers, and global engineering organizations.
- Strong understanding of software development, verification, and release lifecycles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within ECU Platform programs and Agile Release Trains (ART).
- Hands-on experience with HIL automation and vehicle-level validation.
- Knowledge of Functional Safety (ISO 26262) verification activities.
- Experience in automotive software integration and continuous testing practices.
- Experience building and scaling offshore test automation organizations.
- Familiarity with cloud-based test execution and DevOps practices.
