ABC Cargo UAE is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead cargo and courier operations, improve business performance, and drive sustainable growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead branch operations and teams to deliver reliable, efficient service.
• Manage operational performance, budgets, profitability, and cost control.
• Drive sales growth, customer retention, and business development.
• Improve shipment turnaround times, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Strengthen operational processes, performance reporting, and compliance.
• Develop department heads and ensure accountability across teams.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 10 years of experience in cargo, courier, or logistics, including at least 5 years in a senior management role.
• UAE or GCC logistics management experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the UAE market and multi-branch operations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage financial performance and achieve operational targets.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
• An MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred.
