DescriptionPURPOSE OF POSITIONAssists or works independently on various maintenance projects in the facility.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES
- Helps mechanics or electricians with any maintenance function.
- Helps custodians at time with cleaning and waxing floors or ant functions that they need assistance with.
- Helps with painting, cleaning walls, cleaning floors, cleaning machinery or any outside equipment or buildings.
- Keep yards clean and free of any trash or equipment parts.
- Must be able to work unexpected hours.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Decisions And Responsibilities
- * Must work safely at all times obeying both OSHA and company guidelines.
- Report any unsafe actions or conditions to management immediately.
- Must be able to work unsupervised.
RequirementsREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- * High School Diploma or equivalent preferred (GED).
- Knowledge of manufacturing and prior work in manufacturing preferred.
- Must be able to read and follow written work instructions.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
- * Must be able to lift up to approximately 45 pounds.
- Must be able to stand on your feet for extended period of time.
- Must be able to work around equipment that generates extensive heat.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and squat.
- Must be able to travel throughout the facility to obtain information needed to perform job functions.
- Must be able to work/collaborate with a team.
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes, dust particles, and temperature extremes.
