Role Description The General Dentist will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of diverse backgrounds, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and delivery of preventive and restorative services. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing examinations, interpreting diagnostic tests and radiographs, administering local anesthesia, and carrying out procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canal treatments, crowns, and basic periodontal care. The role also involves educating patients on oral hygiene, discussing treatment options, maintaining accurate clinical records, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals within the polyclinic. The General Dentist is expected to follow infection control protocols, uphold clinical quality standards, and contribute to a positive patient experience.
