H-Touch is an Egyptian contractor specializing in ELV, Low Current, and Telecom Solutions, executing projects for clients across various sectors.
We are looking for a detail-oriented General Accountant to support the Accounting Manager in managing the company’s day-to-day accounting operations, including general accounting, financial transactions, and project-related accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle daily accounting transactions, journal entries, and general ledger records.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including customer, supplier, and subcontractor accounts.
- Review invoices, receipts, payments, and supporting financial documents.
- Track project costs, expenses, and financial transactions.
- Assist in preparing and following up on customer progress invoices and subcontractor payment certificates.
- Monitor outstanding balances, supplier payments, and customer collections.
- Perform bank reconciliations and assist with cash flow monitoring.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and support project cost and profitability analysis.
- Assist with monthly closing, financial reporting, and tax-related documentation.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Operations, and Project Teams on financial matters.
- Perform other accounting duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting Major.
- 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Experience in contracting, construction, or project-based companies is strongly preferred.
- Good knowledge of general accounting principles, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliation.
- Understanding of project costs, subcontractor accounts, and progress invoices is an advantage.
- Very good command of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Odoo or other ERP/accounting systems is an advantage.
- High attention to detail, analytical skills, organization, and ability to meet deadlines.
