About the platform
A newly launched venture platform building from the ground up in Dubai, backed by a founding team with prior institutional investing track records and a committed investor base spanning regional family offices, sovereign-linked capital and international institutions. The firm invests in founder-led technology businesses across the Gulf and wider MENA region.
Responsibilities:
- Fund accounting and administration for the fund and ManCo entities, working alongside the outsourced administrator
- Capital calls, drawdowns, distributions and all investor notices, managed end to end
- Quarterly and annual NAV preparation, with valuation and fair-value input on portfolio holdings
- LP reporting packs, capital account statements and direct handling of investor queries across a multi-LP base with differing formats and deadlines
- Management fee, expense allocation, waterfall and carried interest calculations
- Investor onboarding, KYC and AML, and regulatory filings in the relevant jurisdiction
- Audit coordination and preparation of statutory financial statements
- Treasury, banking, payments and cash forecasting
- Support on closings, funds flow and post-completion entity administration
- Helping design and document the operating procedures, controls and reporting calendar for a first-time fund
What we are looking for
- Three to five years in fund administration or fund accounting, either in-house with a manager or on the service side at an administrator, audit firm or Big Four private funds team
- Demonstrable experience servicing multiple limited partners — managing separate capital accounts, bespoke reporting requirements, side letter terms and simultaneous investor deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail: this is a role where numbers go straight to investors, and accuracy is the core of the job
- Venture capital or private equity fund exposure essential; closed-end structures required
- Confident with capital calls, distributions, waterfalls, carried interest and LP capital accounts
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant preferred — ACCA, ACA, CPA or CIMA
- Suited to a lean, early-stage environment where process is owned rather than executed
- Calm under reporting deadlines and credible in direct dialogue with investors and auditors
- UAE or wider GCC experience helpful; Arabic a bonus, not a requirement
