Join Aleido's Tech team and help build the platform that transforms how technical information is created and delivered, at the intersection of AI, engineering, and UX.
What You Will DoYou'll work in a cross-functional product team, alongside Backend, Product, and UX, with real ownership over what ships and how it's built. This is a role for experienced engineers who care about craft and want to shape the frontend, not just implement it.
- Own frontend implementation of features and larger UI initiatives, from specification to deployment
- Shape and evolve our frontend architecture, component library, and design system
- Partner with UX to challenge and refine interaction patterns and complex workflows
- Define clean, efficient API contracts together with backend and platform engineers
- Drive frontend quality through testing strategy (unit, component, E2E), tooling, and automation
- Lead code reviews and support other engineers through guidance and mentoring
- Identify performance bottlenecks and architectural gaps, and drive long-term improvements that reduce technical debt
- Contribute to estimation, planning, and feasibility discussions
- Integrate AI-assisted tools as a natural part of your engineering workflow
Who You AreYou're an experienced frontend engineer who works independently, takes ownership of complex features, and raises the bar for the people around you. You have strong fundamentals, opinions grounded in experience, and enjoy both deep technical work and collaboration with Product and UX.
Required skills and experience:
- Strong, hands-on expertise in TypeScript, React, and modern component-based frontend architecture
- Solid experience with state management patterns, data flows, and API integration
- Proven experience with automated testing, component-driven development, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience building reusable components and scalable UI architectures
- Strong performance optimisation and debugging skills
- Good knowledge of accessibility and a feel for what makes complex interfaces intuitive
- Familiarity with frontend tooling such as bundlers, linting, and build pipelines
- Experience giving and receiving thoughtful code reviews, and a drive to help the team level up together
- Fluent in both English and Swedish, spoken and written
Nice to have:
- Experience leading or maintaining a design system
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, frontend observability, and deployment pipelines
- Background from larger, platform-oriented or product-driven environments
- Experience with spec-driven development
