Role Description This full-time on-site French Teacher role is based in Doha, Qatar. The French Teacher will plan and deliver engaging French language lessons that support learners at various proficiency levels, using appropriate teaching methods and resources. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records of attendance and performance. The teacher will participate in faculty meetings, collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum goals, and contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment. Additional duties may involve organizing language activities, supporting exam preparation, and engaging with parents or guardians regarding student development.
Qualifications
- Strong classroom skills in French Teaching and general Teaching, with the ability to adapt methods to diverse learning needs.
- Experience in Tutoring and Education, including one-on-one or small group support to reinforce language skills.
- Background in Teacher Training or professional development activities related to language instruction.
- Proficiency in spoken and written French; good command of English for communication within the school community.
- Relevant degree or certification in French, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Previous experience teaching French in a school or comparable educational setting, preferably with mixed-ability groups.
- Ability to design lesson plans, integrate suitable learning materials, and use basic educational technology tools.
- Strong organizational, communication, and classroom management skills, with a commitment to inclusive and respectful teaching practices.
