About The RoleWe're looking for a Fraud Specialist to join our team at Moyasar.
As a financial company operating in the payments sector, fraud prevention is an important part of protecting our customers, payment services, and business. You'll help monitor transactions and user activity, investigate suspicious cases, and support effective fraud detection and prevention across our payment and wallet environment.
What You'll Do
- * Monitor transactions, accounts, and user activity to identify potential fraudulent behavior
- Review and investigate fraud alerts and suspicious transactions
- Analyze transactional and non-transactional data to identify unusual patterns, trends, and fraud indicators
- Investigate suspected fraud cases and document findings clearly
- Assess and authorize high-risk payment transactions in line with established fraud controls and procedures
- Raise and manage chargeback claims on behalf of customers and follow up on cases through resolution
- Support the identification and prevention of emerging fraud typologies
- Escalate high-risk or complex cases to the appropriate stakeholders
- Maintain accurate records of fraud investigations, decisions, chargebacks, and actions taken
- Work with relevant teams to improve fraud detection rules, monitoring processes, and controls
- Analyze fraud trends and prepare reports and insights for management
- Support continuous improvement of fraud prevention and detection processes
- Collaborate with Risk, Operations, AML, Compliance, and other relevant teams when required
Requirements
- * 1-3 years of experience in fraud, fraud operations, fraud analysis, financial crime, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in fraud detection, monitoring, investigation, transaction analysis, or a similar area.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to make well-supported decisions based on available data.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 operational environment, including day and night shifts
