Role Description The Football Coach is a full-time, on-site role based in Amman. This role involves planning and leading daily training sessions that build technical skills, tactical awareness, physical fitness, and teamwork. The Football Coach will analyze player performance, provide constructive feedback, and develop individualized improvement plans. Responsibilities include preparing match strategies, managing team selection, overseeing practice drills, and ensuring adherence to safety and sportsmanship standards. The coach will also communicate regularly with players, staff, and, where applicable, families to align expectations, support player development, and represent Iris Sports’ values.
Qualifications
* Candidates should possess strong Football Coaching and general Coaching skills, including planning sessions and leading teams on and off the field.
* Candidates should possess solid Football knowledge, including rules, tactics, player development principles, and modern training methodologies.
* Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for giving clear instructions, feedback, and guidance to players, staff, and stakeholders.
* Candidates should possess Training skills in organizing drills, conditioning programs, and structured practice plans that match player levels.
* Relevant coaching certifications or licenses from recognized football or sports governing bodies are beneficial.
* Prior experience coaching youth, amateur, or professional football teams is highly desirable.
* Ability to work on-site in Amman, manage schedules, and maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful training environment.
* Strong organizational skills, reliability, and commitment to continuous learning and professional development in coaching.
