Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Food Items Indoor Sales role based in Shuwaikh. The role involves greeting and assisting customers in the showroom or store, presenting and explaining food and beverage products, and guiding customers in their purchasing decisions. Daily responsibilities include handling sales transactions, maintaining product displays, monitoring stock levels, and coordinating with the warehouse or logistics team to ensure timely product availability. The person in this role will respond to customer inquiries, provide product information such as origins, ingredients, and usage, and support promotional activities and in-store marketing initiatives. Accurate record-keeping, adherence to company policies, and collaboration with colleagues and supervisors to meet sales targets are essential components of the position.
Qualifications
* Experience and knowledge in Food & Beverage, Food Service, and Food Preparation to effectively present and handle food items.
* Ability to perform basic Cooking or product demonstration tasks when needed to showcase product quality and usage.
* Strong Communication skills to engage with customers, understand their needs, and provide clear, professional information.
* Previous experience in retail or indoor sales, preferably in food items or FMCG.
* Basic numeracy and cash-handling skills, with familiarity in using POS systems.
* Attention to detail and ability to maintain clean, organized product displays and storage areas.
* Ability to work on-site in Shuwaikh, including flexibility for retail working hours and peak sales periods.
* High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in sales, retail, or hospitality is an advantage.
* Arabic and English language skills are beneficial for interacting with a diverse customer base.
