Role Description The Fitness Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based at The OQ in Doha. This role is responsible for designing and delivering safe, effective, and engaging fitness programs for guests, including one-on-one sessions and group exercise classes. The Fitness Trainer oversees daily training schedules, demonstrates proper exercise techniques, and tailors workouts to different fitness levels and goals. The role includes monitoring guest progress, providing wellness guidance, and maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming studio and gym environment. The Fitness Trainer collaborates with spa and recreation teams to support integrated wellness experiences, promotes fitness services, and ensures every guest receives attentive, high-quality service.
Qualifications
- * Strong skills in Fitness Training and Fitness Instruction, with the ability to design personalized workout plans and lead safe, effective sessions.
- Experience in Group Exercise, including planning and delivering engaging classes for varied fitness levels.
- Knowledge of the Fitness Industry, including current trends, best practices, and safety standards.
- Excellent Customer Service skills, with a focus on building rapport, listening to guest needs, and providing a welcoming, inclusive environment.
- Relevant fitness certifications (e.g., personal training, group exercise) from recognized bodies; CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
- Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Previous experience in luxury hospitality or premium wellness facilities is an asset.
