Job Purpose
To lead the financial planning, reporting, control and compliance agenda across the Group’s technology entities, and to act as a trusted finance business partner to management. The role ensures timely and accurate financial information, strong governance and controls, efficient cash and working capital management, and full statutory, tax and audit compliance, while driving continuous improvement through ERP enhancement and finance automation.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning, Reporting & Business Performance
- Lead annual budgeting, roll forecasts and multi-year business planning across entities.
- Develop and maintain financial models incorporating revenue, EBITDA, balance sheet and cash flow forecasts.
- Prepare management reporting packs, KPI dashboards and variance analysis, providing actionable business insights.
- Support Board, shareholder and Group reporting requirements through accurate and timely financial information.
Financial Control, Accounting & Compliance
- Oversee month-end and year-end close activities, financial reconciliations and intercompany accounting.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, Group accounting policies and internal control requirements.
- Maintain finance policies, procedures and delegated authority frameworks.
- Coordinate external and internal audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
Tax, Treasury & Working Capital Management
- Manage VAT, Corporate Tax and other regulatory compliance requirements, including coordination with external advisors.
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity and funding requirements.
- Drive collections, working capital improvement and vendor payment governance.
- Support banking relationships, account management, capital calls and bank guarantee monitoring.
Business Partnering & Commercial Finance
- Partner with business leaders on pricing, profitability, cost management and strategic initiatives.
- Prepare business cases, investment evaluations and financial risk assessments.
- Present financial performance and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.
Systems, Process Improvement & Automation
- Drive ERP optimisation, finance transformation initiatives and integration of new entities.
- Automate recurring reporting and control activities to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Standardise finance processes and maintain robust documentation across the Group.
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead, prioritise and review the work of the finance team to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Support team development, coaching and recruitment activities.
- Build effective relationships with auditors, regulators, banks and internal stakeholders.

- IFRS application in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment, including consolidation and intercompany accounting.
- UAE VAT and Corporate Tax, e-invoicing and regulatory compliance.
- Audit management from planning through to closure of findings.
- Cash flow forecasting, working capital and treasury management.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 or equivalent), planning tools (Planful or equivalent) and Power BI/Tableau.

Preferred Educational Qualifications and Professional Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
- Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA or CIMA.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365 or equivalent), including reporting, controls and process improvement, is an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
- Proven experience in a multi-entity group environment with consolidation and intercompany exposure.
- Experience of at least one full budgeting and statutory audit cycle as lead coordinator.
- Exposure to the technology, investment holding or high-growth sectors is preferred.
