Job Responsibilities
- Manage the full spectrum of finance and accounting operations.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and performance analysis.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing with accurate financial reporting.
- Monitor financial performance, costs and profitability, and provide insights to management.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements and statutory regulations.
- Strengthen internal controls, financial processes and risk management.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks and other external parties.
- Support management in business planning, investment decisions and commercial analysis.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial efficiency, cost control and business performance.
- Lead, coach and manage the finance team.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, preferably with managerial or supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and cash-flow management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good commercial acumen.
- Good understanding of internal controls, tax and statutory requirements.
- Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting / ERP systems.
