Position Title:Finance Business Partner MENA
Position Type: Regular - Full-Time
Requisition ID: 44775
In every role, McCainers are ambitious, curious, and passionate about creating exceptional work experiences - together. With a customer-first mindset, we make doing business with McCain easy.
About The Role. The Middle East region is a strategic growth platform for McCain, with significant ambition towards 2030. The Finance Business Partner MENA acts as the financial co-pilot to the regional commercial leadership team, driving profitable growth across the region. Based in Dubai, the role combines commercial finance, business partnering, strategic planning, pricing, working capital management, and financial performance management.
Based in Dubai, the role provides financial leadership across the regional P&L and serves as the key link between the Middle East commercial organization and the wider EMENA Finance team.
This is a boots-on-the-ground partnership — with a presence in the market, alongside customers and distributors, close enough to the business to shape decisions before they are made. The role reports on a solid line into EMENA Finance and on a dotted line to the leader of the Middle East business.
What You’ll Be Doing.
- * Act as the embedded finance partner to the regional commercial leadership team — in the room for key decisions, providing financial insight and robust challenge on strategy, pricing, investment, and distributor discussions.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes for the region, ensuring alignment between commercial plans and financial commitments, and providing clear visibility on risks, opportunities, and mitigation actions.
- Own regional performance analysis across volume, Net Sales, Gross Profit, and profitability — monitoring key drivers such as price, mix, inflation, currency, and customer performance.
- Support the development and execution of regional pricing strategies, evaluate customer and distributor profitability, and drive margin improvement initiatives while balancing growth ambitions.
- Own the profitable growth agenda for the region — identifying where growth is worth having, building the business case, and driving it through to execution at the pace a fast-moving market demands.
- Monitor customer credit exposure and working capital performance, partnering with Commercial, Credit, and Treasury teams to support payment term negotiations and mitigate financial risk.
- Support evaluation of alternative sourcing opportunities, production footprint scenarios, and landed cost implications, developing financial business cases for strategic growth initiatives and market entries.
- Operate effectively across a matrix organization — building alignment across Commercial, Supply Chain, Treasury, Credit, and Global FP&A, and communicating a single, consistent financial narrative to regional and EMENA leadership.
- Champion the future of finance in the region — leveraging McCain's digital, data, and AI capabilities to shorten the distance between data and decision, and shifting time from producing numbers to influencing outcomes.
What You’ll Need To Be Successful.
- * Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, CFA, ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification is an asset.
- Significant experience in commercial finance / FP&A, ideally within FMCG or food manufacturing, with exposure to distributor-led markets and the Middle East region.
- Strong track record of influencing senior commercial stakeholders and translating financial data into clear business decisions.
- Solid understanding of pricing, margin, credit risk, working capital, sourcing, and foreign exchange impacts on business performance.
- Strong digital and data fluency — confident with modern planning, ERP, and BI tools (SAP/S4, Power BI, Anaplan or equivalent), and genuinely curious about how automation and AI will reshape the finance function.
- Proven ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and ambiguity in a fast-growing, evolving international environment.
- Proven success in a matrix organization — delivering through influence rather than authority, managing competing regional and functional priorities.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills — fluent English required, Arabic an advantage.
