Role Description The Facility Engineer – Manufacturing Industry is a full-time, on-site role based in Qesm 2nd El Salam. This role is responsible for overseeing the operation, reliability, and safety of manufacturing facilities, including utilities, building systems, and production-related infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring facility performance, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance, and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and building services issues to minimize downtime. The Facility Engineer collaborates with production, safety, and maintenance teams to plan facility upgrades, implement efficiency improvements, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company standards. The role also requires maintaining documentation, supporting audits, and working with external vendors and contractors to deliver cost-effective facility solutions.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Facilities Engineering and Facility Management (FM) for manufacturing environments with over 2-4 years of experience
- Candidates should possess experience in Facilities Operations, including oversight of utilities, building systems, and production support infrastructure.
- Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting abilities for mechanical, electrical, and facility systems to resolve issues quickly and safely.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Preventive Maintenance planning and execution to enhance equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Facilities Engineering (or a related technical field) are highly beneficial.
- Beneficial skills include knowledge of safety and environmental regulations, familiarity with CMMS or maintenance management systems, and experience in manufacturing industries.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively on-site, and a structured approach to problem-solving are important for success in this role.
