Role Description The Experienced Approval Doctor – Health Insurance will be responsible for reviewing and approving medical treatment requests and insurance claims in alignment with SEKEM’s healthcare policies and insurer agreements. This on-site, full-time role, based in Cairo, Egypt, includes assessing medical necessity, verifying documentation, and ensuring compliance with health insurance guidelines and regulatory standards. The role involves close collaboration with physicians, medical staff, insurance representatives, and internal finance teams to clarify clinical information and support accurate, timely approvals. The Approval Doctor will also provide guidance on coverage limitations, contribute to the optimization of medical cost management, and help refine internal procedures for claim review. Ongoing responsibilities may include participating in audits, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of medical protocols and insurance regulations, and supporting continuous improvement of SEKEM’s medical services.
